Take her to the vet as soon as you can just for a checkup to make sure she is healthy. Shelter dogs are unfortunately fed low-quality kibbles due to limited funds. If you are feeding her something she is not used to, she may have loose stool or gas until she becomes accustomed to it. Some dogs also get a little GI upset during stressful times. She is 100% happier with you than the shelter, but it is a new situation and may need some time to adjust. If you really wanted to, you could ask the shelter what food she was eating, buy a small bag, and gradually switch her onto something new. Theres a good chance she was eating many different things, though. Just like the first person said, I recommend a high quality puppy food (large breed if the brand specifies).I feed my dog (and cat) Wellness Core, I highly recommend it. As a rule of thumb, I would avoid choosing anything you can buy at a grocery store (store brands, alpo, gravy train, pedigree, etc). You can mix in wet food if you like, but it is not necessary. Keep in mind you will need to feed less of the dry food if you are mixing canned in to keep her at a healthy weight.

You should take your new dog to the veterinarian and register her and get her checked over within 24 hours of your purchase. You can go to a pet store and ask them the best type of food for her size, age and fitness level (for example if she's not getting much exercise she'd be best on a lite food rather than a working dog formula). Make sure you feed kibble (aka dry biscuit) this is the main part of a domesticated dogs diet as it has everything they need in it. You can add a variety of other things from tinned meat, like the shelter said, or I also mix in sardines with my dogs biscuit, they also love raw mince meat, or a raw egg, remember if and when you feed a dog meat it's always better off raw.
Such a young and active breed she needs to be getting at LEAST 90 minutes exercise a day along with mental stimulation! Good luck and enjoy your new dog :)
