How will Toyota execs look at MWR after this fiasco?

The Japanese system of honor and saving face must be hugely embarrassing for Toyota.

Update:

Oops, I meant to say Japanese "culture" of honor and saving face.

Just imagine how the Mexican Chevy corporation feels about the 48 and all it's violations over the years.

They same way they treated their customers who had sudden acceleration problems. They'll define their own version of honor.

With that said I believe it was pressure from Toyota that added to MWR doing what they did. Yes everyone does all they could but I honestly believe Toyota is demanding a Cup and now. So they wanted as many cars in the Chase as possible,

I don't think they'll publicly do anything but if MWR isn't in the top 10 and winning expect reduced support or elimination of it

who do you think offered the big bonus to MWR if they got into the Chase? Hint, it wasn't Santa Klaus!

You must have forgotten that the Japanese culture also honored Kamikaze pilots.
