New Bank of America credit card compromise or continuation of old?

I was notified today 9/11/13 that my credit card information may have been compromised at an undisclosed merchant or service provider. They changed my account number and sending new cards.

My question has anyone else got this from BOA in last couple of days? If so is this a recent occurrence or possible continuation of older occurrence. If not it might be just my account, although there have not been any unauthorized charges as of yet.

Very common and nothing to worry about it is just that they have discovered that perhaps some merchant you use was a known problem
