Who are the current best US Football teams?

It is a bit different in the sense that it can vary from year to year, week to week, as to who the best teams are. More so from week to week. That's less likely for the top clubs in Europe or other parts of the world in my opinion.

Even if those teams have some turbulence or go through a disappointing season, they'll likely remain near the top, or in contention for their league title, cause of spending, utilization of transfer window, etc. Trades are allowed, but it's a bit different. It's harder to go through dramatic makeover within a season.

Plus, there is no promotion/relegation system. You can be bad for many years in a row, all that might come of it, the owner might want to move the team to a different city, location. That doesn't happen much though. At least it gives fans a reason to be angry. One things sports has in common. Fans from everywhere around the world will be angry or upset.

There are some very iconic and storied franchises though. They might not be as good every year as the iconic football clubs in Europe and in other places are however. A few have been good for a while though.

I don't follow too much football, but the ones in that link above, those are pretty much the teams people see as the best at the moment.

The NFL is professional football also. These teams don't compete against the ones in college, obviously high school. There's also Arena football and Canadian football. They also don't compete against NFL teams. NFL is the highest level.

If you are talking about MLS, I have no idea. If you are talking about football, as in touchdowns, field goals, quarterbacks, etc, then I can offer you a few thoughts.

The best teams are the ones that stay healthy and have the best quarterbacks / defenses. Right now, the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers are probably the two best teams in the NFC. In the AFC, Denver looked great last week, and Houston is a pretty tough contender. New England is another great team, but they have had some injury issues recently.

In the end, it will come down to who stays healthy.

Best team is unknown til the end of the year. 49ers lost to the Ravens in the Super Bowl last year but due to losing players the Ravens aren't as good this year. I'd say the 49ers or the Broncos are the best team right now.

Denver Broncos are off to a good start, Philadelphia Eagles, New England Patriots, my money would be on the Eagles though because of their well-rounded team effort throughout 3 quarters

In the NFL the top 3 are the Broncos, 49ers and Patriots

In college footabll the top 3 are Alabama, Oregon and Clemson.
