Shiba Inu Puppy Scream!?
I just took home my 10 week old Shiba Inu puppy two days ago. He's been very well behaved so far, but my mom and I put him in the kitchen with a gate so he can get used to staying in there alone. He's going ballistic and I'm having mixed feelings about this. Is this ok to do to a Shiba or is he still too young? I feel like if he doesn't learn now, he never will.

Put a radio on low in there for him. a blanket or an old t-shirt you have worn or used to give him a familiar scent. but if you give in to him now you will never be able to leave him without him screaming blue murder, They soon learn that the scream leads to a reward of you come running to him. That's what starts separation anxiety.

He needs to learn how to calm down. Ignore him. He needs to learn how to do this. He isn't too young to learn, if he was then he would still be with his mother. He needs to learn how to do this. Put a radio on in the kitchen and stay out of that room.
