Helping with newborn baby?
I know that newborn baby only sleep for about 2 hours at a time, and my dad and my step mum LOVE their sleep, so when their baby comes I want to be able to help so that they can get some sleep. I was thinking about looking after the baby so that they can sleep. However as I'm only 16 I can't drive anywhere and I don't have my own house I don't know what I could do to help. What do you think I should do?

Feeding baby
Changing baby
Laundry
Cooking & Dishes
Honestly after I had my kids the biggest helps were laundry and someone else helping with meals. You're just so tired with a newborn everything else gets put on the back burner, even your own health. So making sure your mom eats healthy meals everyday is a HUGE help.

That's sweet of you. You could try helping around the house for a start, like doing the dishes, laundry, maybe even make dinner. That'll make your step mums life a lot easier because then she would only have to use her energy on the baby. As for night time i think you probably need your sleep too because you're in college/school right? And if your mum breast feeds there's not much you could do to help with the night time feedings or any feedings really. You could change the baby's nappy once in a while but really they're the parents not you. It's nice for you to help but there's no need for you to do everything or more than they do
