Did anyone hear that the French Prime Minister say that we are currently trying to get rid of 24 tons of WMD?

I heard on DemocracyNOW a portion of the French Prime Minister saying that the UN is currently trying to destroy roughly 24 tons or 240 tons of chemical weapons gotten from Iraq. He is saying that Syria should have roughly 1000 tons of chemical weapons. I am wondering when the main stream media over here will run this story since this proves that Iraq did have WMD which the liberals have strongly denied for years.

I always agreed with Sean Hannity that S.Hussin had them moved to Syria so G.Bush couldn't find them.

You surely did not understand what they were saying on tv/radio/whatever.

    First :

" I heard [...] a portion. '' --> Okay, it means you have not heard everything from the beginning!

And by way, I follow political conversations quite closely, especially those of my country, and if I remember well, the last time Prime Minister Ayrault talked about weapons ( just weapons ) was 11 years ago saying something like " it's Assad in Syria not the rebels "".

So please, provide a specific link to what you have heard. I may be mistaken, but these last days Ayrault only talk about how proud he is of his new retirement system!

After searching both Democracynow.org and the French government's Websites, I find no such claim. Can you provide a link?
