Promotion to Captain?

I'm a 1LT(P) right now. I have my sequence number and list annotating that I'm promotable. My question is, when the hell do I get promoted? I've asked my commander, S1, and BDE S1 and nobody seems to know when exactly the promotions will start for year group 10. I know a lot is up in the air right now because of the longer periods between promotions and the drawdown...but this is kind of ridiculous. If anyone has any insight into officer promotions or when the sequence numbers will be published for promotion dates I would be much appreciative. Thanks

Update:

That's the thing. It is not clear whether they have changed the minimum time from 42 months to 48 months. If it is still 42 then I should have been promoted already, if it is now 48 then I will have to wait until December .

Who will still view me as an LT? Hard to do if I am pcs'ing...don't presume too much. Obviously I won't get promoted until my orders come in..but if sequence numbers are given then I'm assuming a list or OML of some sort has been published.

It depends. Have you completed 4 years? Enlisted time doesn't count. If you actually made the list, you shouldn't worry too much. I was an officer myself.

Unsure of dates, you will get promoted when your orders come in or when you see a change on AKO. I'm sure you've heard that already though.

Pay increase is nice, but they will still view you as an LT for the next several months.

It's an ENIGMA ! LOL. I was an Aircrewman in Navy A3D Skywarrior bombers( jets ). (VIETNAM). We had to qualify on ejection seat "mock-up" every year ! The A3D did not have ejection seats !
