Why did my question get removed?

I had a question about the red ring of death and it got removed. All it said was like can the slim get it? If it does what should I do? You know, just stuff like that. Nothing offensive or mean or anything. Could it be because of the best answer I chose. The guy I chose for the best answer, I answered some of his questions and now I cannot find them in my history. If his account got removed or he took it down, is that why? This question really is not important but I just wondered. Please help

Your question was indeed removed because the Best Answer was removed.

The account from the user that received the Best Answer has been suspended and from what I could see, all of the content was removed. As a result any questions which you answered or any questions where you awarded him the Best Answer will have been removed as a result.

This happens with some accounts especially if they have serial abuse e.g. spam, non-answers etc and/or are one of a group of multiple accounts.

There are several reasons Qs are removed.

    1. It is a violation of the rules - you will get an e-mail when that happens within 24 hours. If you want to know the reason for the violation, post "Why was this question (answer) a violation?" and add the original e-mail you got so the users can see the exact context. The experienced users here will explain it to you. There is no statute of limitations on breaking the YA rules.

    2. There were zero answers when the time expired - no e-mail sent.

    3. The BA was reported as a violation - no e-mail sent.

    4. During voting, "No Best Answer" was chosen as the best answer - no e-mail sent.

Look in your e-mail, including the spam folder, for a violation e-mail. If not there, check your activity tab in your profile. If nothing about a violation there, then the Q was removed for one of the other reasons.

It means that something about your question broke the rules and there were enough users who saw it as an offence reported you.

You need to show us the wording you used as in this case I can't understand what you are talking about so that may have been the reason. I see you haven't provided enough detail about what the Red Ring of Death is all about.
