Do Aliens exist? Even no evidence is yet found...?
Yesterday on Facebook a question was asked about Alien's existence. I said they do exist. Universe is so big and Aliens may live in outer galaxies.
But another girl was saying, If I don't have proof, I can't say they exist. Is it really true? I found her statement quite stupid. But what would you say?

Lack of proof of something existing isn't proof that something doesn't exist.
You see the idea of harnessing energy from atoms was described as moonshine. And look at nuclear power plants.
Pretty much alien life has been confirmed as once existing from fossilized remains of bacteria from Mars from the meteor found in Antarctica.
We can try using cave drawing or other mysterious places that depicts alien encounters, BUT the Sci-Fi channel reexamined Roswell, strong physical evidence that it was neither a weather balloon nor Project Mogul, but a high velocity craft that left a strong magnetic resonance that technology in 1947 could not reproduce.

First off, you need to use correct terms. "Aliens" DO exist. Many of them come in to the United States from Mexico, but we also get many aliens from the Dominican Republic, Cuba, and the South American countries, and a smaller number from Europe and the Asian countries.
Of course, >I< am speaking about Non-Citizens, political "aliens" from other countries.
PART of your problem is failure to use the correct terminology. You should have used the term "Extraterrestrials", meaning "beings from a planet other than earth".
Even so, the OTHER answer IS more correct than yours. Since you are unable to visit ALL possible planets other than earth, you cannot PROVE that Extraterrestrials exist. Even your own statement "Aliens may live in other galaxies" DOES NOT constitute 100% PROOF. You used the word "may", which includes the possibility that they also "may not". While there is a significant chance that there IS life on extra-solar planets (planets that are NOT part of our solar system), there is ALSO a chance, an almost equal chance, that there is no -- NONE -- other life anywhere in the Universe, meaning that we ARE completely unique, and were therefore possibly created by God, as a form of miracle, and not by mere chance and evolution.
The statement from the girl IS CORRECT, and YOUR beliefs are INCORRECT due to lack of hard evidence. Your answer is based on POSSIBILITY, not fact, and your beliefs show an unscientific personal bias that simply ignores the other possibilities. Ignoring possibilities, no matter how far-fetched, is a very UNscientific viewpoint.
To those in the scientific world, this is called Pseudo-Science, or Junk Science -- the presenting as FACT that which is yet unproven. Such thinking leads to the many mistakes, hoaxes, and even LIES that come out of the Pseudo-Science community -- Evolution, Missing Links, Gay Genes, Cold Fusion, Global Warming, and of course Extraterrestrial life and "visits".
To be SCIENTIFICALLY correct, you statements (and even your own thinking) MUST take into account the equally strong possibility there there is NO life ANYWHERE in the Universe, since EITHER possibly, extraterrestrials or no extraterrestrials, does have identical mathematical probability, and BOTH possibilities need to be explored.
Conversely, The statement "there are no aliens" is ALSO incorrect for the same reason. Without having examined ALL possible extra-solar planets, it is impossible to says WITH SCIENTIFIC CERTAINTY, that there is NO life ANYWHERE except earth.
The ONLY inarguable answers MUST take into account POSSIBILITY. And the POSSIBILITY that there IS extraterrestrial life is VERY HIGH, but it IS NOT 100%. You CAN NOT offer "fact" on this subject, but only your beliefs, your OPINION. But from a Scientific standpoint, you OPINION counts for nothing.

This frequent question is asked here every day, sometimes several times a day. Just use the Search Answers tool, or scroll back over the older questions, and you'll find many instances of it.
.
It boils down to two very different questions. 1. Do other civilizations exist? and 2. Are we being visited? Most people here would agree that the odds that life exists elsewhere in the Universe is astronomically high, given the hundreds of billions stars each in hundreds of billions of galaxies. Your friend is right, though, in pointing out that odds don't equal proof, and until we find concrete, credible evidence, the question remains in doubt.
.
Are we being visited? I don't think so, though there are an extremely small percentage of UFO reports that seem at least somewhat substantiated. I won't believe it until we can either see an alien spacecraft displayed in the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, or until we have incontrovertible proof of an extraterrestrial life form.

Looking for evidence of intelligent extra-terrestrial aliens is likely to be next to impossible. Imagine the power output required beam a message to a world, say 100 light years away, without the photons becoming so dispersed that all useful information is depleted. Imagine how one would know where to beam such a message out of trillions of possible worlds. Imagine how long one would need to wait for evidence of an intelligent response to confirm the existence of an alien. Imagine the improbability of the spark of life, turning chemistry into biology, and how rare an earth-like planet would be in which intelligent life would evolve that could communicate with our Earth in such a way that we would recognize it and respond in kind.
That intelligent aliens exist in a universe so immense I would have thought is quite likely, but these worlds with life would be very sparsely spread such as to be hundreds if not thousands of light years apart. Perhaps the evolution of intelligent life is such a rare probability that our Earth is the only life bearing planet in the Milky Way galaxy, and, as you suggest, the nearest alien world might be in another galaxy several millions of light years away. If so, a single message would take longer than the human species has existed thus far, making communication impossible.

i wish there were a way to slap stupid people/bitches like that girl.
i dont have proof i dont believe it. these kind of people just want you to bring a proof for them, so that they can have a satisfaction or something, but their annoying.
i would say, for sure, other living beings/aliens exists. it cant be just us humans who exists as living beings.
look at the number and type of animals exists on this earth. we dont have any proof of their existence either. neither we have any proof of existence of humans. where did we come from in the first place on this earth?
if there is a creation, there must be a creator. if ther is something organised happening, then it must have been organized.
on the other side, earth without god/aliens would have like, a class without teacher.
aliens could be on lower/higer level than humans. but yes. earth is not the only planet. there got to be another planets.
like its been said, truth is out there somewhere, we just dont have access to that yet.
:)) good day

Some scientists believe nothing is true unless you can prove it, but I agree; that is stupid. Moderation is best, pick and choose what you believe based on reasoning and the best evidence available. There is lots of evidence of ET, but most of it has been debunked. Some of the debunked was done poorly, irrationally and deceptively. Why not put ET in your grey box = maybe there are ET?
