If you openly gay do you get hit on by 'straight' people?

Of the opposite sex, yes. Also some people who are lg or b and just realizing it. Also (usually girls) who think being bi is daring--these are the fakes who flirt and maybe kiss, then run back to boys when they've had their naughty thrill.

I don't know if you're MORE likely to get attention from ostensibly het girls, but yeah, being out will get you attention from other women who are interested, sexually, in women. Look at all the questions here from people wanting to know "Is s/he gay?"

I am a lesbian and I get hit on by straight men a lot. Not so much by straight women, but it does happen. Some people think that being gay is something to experiment with for fun. I'm in a happily committed relationship with a wonderful woman and ain't nobody got time for that drama!

I do find that straight men hit on me MORE because I'm a lesbian though. I hear a lot of "if you had my d*ck you wouldn't be gay anymore" and other comments like that, for some reason straight men see lesbian women as a challenge that must be conquered and they will continue to harass you because they enjoy the "hunt".

Sometimes flirting is just how people interact with each other. I knew plenty of people in college that would just flirt and flirt, but not take anyone home easily. It didn't really matter what their sexual orientation was, that was just how they socialize.

I've had straight girls flirt with me but it never goes beyond that and I won't let it go beyond that cause I don't wanna get with a straight or questioning girl. They wouldn't know how to please me.
