How long does it really take to remove abuse?
The Indian call girl ads that changed into Indian Black Magic ads have incredible longevity. Five of them posted more than six hours ago still show up despite having been "deleted". When my content is deleted, it is gone. This means that Yahoo is allowing the violations to remain so that the phone numbers in the headers, which are the only necessary part for the scams to work, are still visible.

Every now and again on Y!A it happens that the headers of questions which have been removed are left in the category pages.
Unfortunately it seems like we're going through another session of this.
Collect those 5 examples and drop the Y! Answers team a quick email y_answrs_team@yahoo.com explaining that the content has been removed but the headers are still being displayed in the category pages and they can check what's going on again

Unfortunately, due to the extreme high volume of the site, not everything gets removed as quickly or as cleanly as it should. For spam like that, your best bet is to report the entire ACCOUNT at the Official Spam Battle Thread on the Suggestion Board. There, they gather the IDs of these spammers and "wipe" the accounts completely. Or at least attempt to. You can also contact the chatzy board which is linked on the Official Spam Battle Thread to alert them if there are "orphan" postings remaining once an account has been terminated.
