Tattoo bubbled and itchy?
I have had my tattoo for over a year, it's just a black outline of an elephant on my wrist. Some lines thicker than other. At least a dozen times in the last year different parts have bubbled up and itch like crazy. Almost like a mosquito bite that follows the tattoo. What could this be?

See a dermatologist - you could be having an allergic reaction to the ink. Don't scratch it, as painful and uncomfortable as it might be, because you could make it worse. If you need to do anything, slap where it itches to numb up the nerves so you can't feel the itchiness or take Benadryl or another allergy medicine. Dermatologists will know what's happening to your skin because they're "skin doctors" and can give you a prescription medicine that will take the swelling and itching down in minutes.

You probably have an allergy to the ink. When it is bubbled up and itching, go to a dermatologist. They are doctors who specialize in skin, and will be able to tell you if you are having an allergic reaction or not, and how to fix it.
