Can vegans use wax? It comes from a bee but doesn't harm them.?

If not, how is their toilet sealed? All modern toilets use a wax ring where the toilet meets the waste drain pipe.

A toilet seal is a petroleum product that happens to be a similar color to beeswax, so the question becomes moot. But Vegans would not use beeswax nor honey, although there is a lot of discussion about the topic.

We can do whatever we want. We just choose not to consume, use, or wear animals and animal products. They're different. We use soy wax, not beeswax...and we believe that if something is forcibly taken from an animal (which we believe bees are), it hurts them. As for the toilet question, it's not sealed with beeswax. Therefore, our toilets are sealed the same way yours is. Not all waxes are made from bees.

No vegans do not use bees wax nor the honey either. Maybe the wax under their toilet is not from animals. Or they may not have even thought of looking there?

On the toilet topic they are made from a petroleum product not bees wax.
