    present worth = 6.1 billion = 6.1 x 10^9,

    droped worth = 236 million = 236 x 10^6,

    Decrease = 6.1 x 10^9 - 236 x 10^6 = 10^6[6100 - 236] =

    = 10^6 x 5864 >============================================< ANSWER

    AND

    Percentage decrease = 10^6 x 5864 x 100 / 6.1 x 10^9 = 96.1% >======< ANSWER

    I think the correct answer is 96.13% decrease. Subtract 236 Mill from 6.1 Bill. That equals 5,864,000,000. Divide this number by 6.1 Bill, and you get your answer.

    Hurray! 3 people posted at the same time, and we all got the right answer. :)
