Is it ok to leave my favorite child with a larger inheritance than the rest of my kids?

I want my daughter to have her house paid off when I pass on and I like my daughter the best.

Update:

The reason she is my favorite is that I always wanted a girl and instead I had seven boys first; except the one girl I adopted, but I don't like her husband. Plus, she visits more and I like to visit her as well.

you can do anything you want.but as a parent i would say you are horrible to have a favorite child.i am also a father of 8, 7 boys and the youngest a daughter yes she is spoiled and gets more than the others simply because she is the baby and the last one at home.but i dont love her anymore than the others.and as for anything after i die its all split even 8 ways.you could start a lot of unnecessary trouble in the family.all it would take is for one of them to get a lawyer and protest the will and insurance policies and tie it up in court till nothing is left.i can see you being closer to her since she is the only girl.but leaving your boys out you need to be slapped.your sons need to cut you out of their life and walk away and never talk to you again.

Daugters do not usually inherit much. the natural and correct order of things is for the eldest male child to inherit the most, and all other males get the next largest share, and then to the oldest fmeale child. that is male primogeniture. women marry husbands and are taken care of by them, but men must raise a fmaily and r=provise for them fully so it makes perfect sense and also it is the best way to keep a fortune intact. my family has practiced it for over 900 years....and we are still wealthy after almost a thusnad years

How can you have a " Favorite" child? From what I see you are a man hater? Your daughter is favorite because shes a girl, that's a damn shame and you're not much of a mother to your sons.

It's your choice but others might be jealous if they found out about it.

The most terrible consequence I could think of is that your children would do whatever they can to get a fair share. (Sen from certain movies)

But again, it is your decision.

How many childreen do you have? Why is your daughter your favorite? Is the reason she visits is because her brothers know she's your favorite??

it's your money, you can do what you want with it. you daughter is the one who will have to live w/ the consequences of your favor.

now if she has a bad relationship w/ her siblings to start with then it won't matter.

and if you've openly demonstrated your favortism to this child then you continuing to favor her won't come as a rude surprise to her siblings.

It's your money, you can do what you want with it.

I do know that if her sister is like others that I know, she'll be an emotional, whiny, jealous, bitter heffer.
