Please tell me there's a chance my ipod will live!!?
I accidentally dropped my ipod in water for not even a second and now the screen is very very dim and won't respond to my attempts at unlocking it. I shook out as much water as I could and it is in rice now. Please tell me there's a chance that after being in the rice for a while it will live!! It has a lot of music on it!

My brothers ipod touch was in his pocket for minutes while he went swimming, it wouldn't turn on until after about 2 days in rice, your ipod should be fine, most likely

Uh, I think the last guy had a translation issue, lol. He's right though, it might still live, but it's really just a waiting game now. Leave it in the rice over night -or day depending on where you are- and check back in next morning. You'll have your answer by then. Good luck! Maybe also try using a hair dryer on low heat as well, but hold it a half foot or so away so you don't over heat it.

yes friend there is a chance to make it alive...it needs to clear bord by petrol or clear stem of display.
