I'm not that social?

I have like 4 friends that I consider "close" one of them I can call best friend or whatever. I can probably go months without talking to them and I would be fine with that. I also catch myself talking to myself about things that are going on in my life or random things like that. I feel like I don't really need other people and I think that it's weird and that I should have more connection with people and whatnot. Is it a problem or will this affect me somehow? I can be social with random people if I have to but I don't go out of my way to start convos and stuff. Pls help.

Talking to yourself is quite weird. I remember I used to do this a lot as a child and my mom and siblings would always comment on how strange it was, and now I think about it, it is really creepy.

Speak to a therapist, councilor or anyone who's going to listen to you and give you professional advice and guide you through whatever you're going through.

You should probably see a psychiatrist or a therapist. The talking to yourself is not a good sign. It is ok to be introverted, but not asocial.
