If I ask questions about Y!A they just disappear. What's the game?

Well, there may be a few reasons:

• your question was reported as a violation of the guidelines

Usually, that happens when someone comes to the yahoo products category and writes a rant disguised as a question about being reported or something. it's really hilarious. :D

• the best answer to your question was reported

• your question went to voting, and "no best answer" won. you get 5 points returned

• you got no answers after 4 days, so your question is deleted

For the first reason, you get -10 points and an email about it. For the latter 3, you are not notified.

I'm not sure if that's what you meant by disappear, but that's the game i guess!

Oh, that means it must have been filtered out for some reason. They should show up in your activity, but sometimes certain keywords or links hide your question, and they don't show. It may also happen as a result of a glitch.

If it was that one, it looks like it is showing up on the main display now. It must have been time delayed or something!

Maybe it is a glitch but it happened to my question about YA also.
