I was given some some beautiful glassware and would love to know the worth of it.?

My neighbor (she was 75 yrs.old) recently passed away. Her son came up to clean out the house and asked if I would help him. He was throwing most everything away! Me being the one to not throw lovely things out.....I went through everything he was going to toss. I got several pieces of what I believe to be "milk glass" with the dots and scalloped edges. One piece I believe to be carnival glass. Then there are these two gorgeous crystal lamps, each with prisms, nicely carved and they both work. I managed to find a sticker on one saying they are were made in Italy and its crystal made. I believe they were her mothers (who passed away several years ago at the old age of 90). So I'm thinking these lamps (not real big) are from the 40's. Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you everyone!!

It's worth what someone would pay for it. Seriously, you can look on ebay to see what people are asking for these things, but they are not likely worth that much individually. They are quite common, and though there are people who collect Depression glass, there are plenty of old people whose collections are being sold that there is no shortage of these items relative to demand. Enjoy it for your own use.

Milk glass was cheaply made and widely produced during the Depresssion (and since) and probably isn't worth much. You can check on Ebay and see what similar lamps are selling for.

You should look up comparable items on Ebay. I think the lamps are the big money item. It will be easy to find out about them if there is a manufacturer's mark somewhere on the lamps.

Take it to an auction house or an antiques shop to get it ID and valued for insurance purposes
