Does the GOP fear that Obamacare will become successful?
They have fought this thing tooth and nail ever since it's conception and are now willing to hold our economy hostage to block it. If they truly believed it would be a disaster, why not allow it to happen and then let an angry America sweep the Republicans into victory in 2016?

Of course they fear it will become successful, the Republicans have agreed with about 95% of Obamacare in the past, but as soon as Obama had his name all over it then they do everything they can to stop it!!!
Why do you think that every single attempt at health care reform since Teddy Roosevelt has been shot down and stamped on and mainly by Republicans???
All they have done is moan and gripe about this bill but have not come up with any real solution whatsoever to take this country into the 21st century in terms of its health care.
The US health care system is an embarrassing disgrace, have you ever heard one single Republican talking about the insane scenario of medical debt bankruptcy where in most cases it is the people that are actually insured who endure this? I haven't!
Have you heard one single Republican talk about the unfairness of people with pre existing conditions being refused cover and being left to die? I haven't!

First of all, it's very cynical to let something bad happen without trying to stop it, just so you can say 'I told you so' after the fact. Are you really suggesting that Republicans should be that cynical?
Second, it's virtually impossible to kill federal programs once they become entrenched--no matter how bad they are. Even if the Democrats get thrown out of office because Obamacare is a disaster, the country will still be saddled with this turkey forever.
Finally, even if Obamacare is implemented and fails, Democrats will still try to shift the blame onto Republicans. They'll complain that Obamacare failed because not enough red states set up insurance exchanges, or some such excuse. Low-information voters will lap that up.

Two problems with your rant.
1) Nobody has a reason to fear it being successful. An "affordable health care act" that has already resulted in the largest increase in health care cost in history is already a failure.
2) The House passed a budget. The only people holding anything hostage at this point is Democrats.

In the days of Rome they gave out free bread to all Romans. Nothing ever changes.

Because it has sweeping changes in healthcare for the middle-class and poor and it is a piece of legislation without their decisions. Two like his foreign policy they see this president as having a sure win. Third because this president helped advert disaster because of the economics of a republican president the republicans are truly worried about a future republican candidate in the White House.

Successful for Paul and detrimental for Peter. Of course those who will be forced to pay for your healthcare will be annoyed. That's the way it always is, but this nation has learned how to vote themselves money. Who doesn't support that except for the real taxpayers? At what point will it become fair? When the government decides how much you get to keep no matter how hard you work?

No, you haven't been paying attention. The gop is willing to fund all of Obamas stupid agendas, just not Obama care, which the majority of people do not want. Sounds reasonable to me. Its called compromise, something the libs don't understand.

No, because we know that won't happen. We DO fear it destroying our economy even worse than Frank Dodd did in 2006.

Of course they do. Thats exactly what thyy are afraid of. Theyve made all these false claims about what the law will do to our economy. and told so many lies, example; the death panels, they know that if, when this law succeeds how dishonest, petty and ignorant they will look.
