How to tell friends I wont smoke with them?
These have been friends i have known since 8th grade. Lately since later in high school and more now since we have started college they smoke weed on a regular basis.
Next week we are going to be doing something together and i know they will be doing it. I just don't know what they will say when i tell them Im not going to smoke with them. They are blowing all their money on it. I also run on a regular basis also and I know that's probably no good for that.
Also how often do you hang out with your friends. They go to different colleges and i usually just hang out with them maybe twice a month at most? Alot of times i just make up excuses for not going, because i don't want to do what they are doing have the time.They have never said anything negative to me.

In 4 years you will never see any of them again so just say no i don't want to smoke.

Just say you aren't interested. You don't need to make up an elaborate excuse. It means more for them, so I doubt they will press the issue. But really it sounds like you are starting to grow apart from these people. It's pretty rare to hang on to high school friends for long after graduation. You could just cut to the chase and stop seeing them now, they aren't going to be hurt.

Well, just tell them you're not interested in their lifestyle. I'm sure they'll understand if you don't want to be around them when they smoke.
