Can i take my jeep on a road trip?
My Grand Cherokee has 164,XXX Miles originally was a Florida vehicle that was driven to NY where i purchased it and is now registered in. But i am wanting to take it on a road trip to NC about 600 miles one way every mechanic i had tooken it too gave it the green light that it's a well maintained clean mechanical issue free vehicle. What i have had done too it is as follows.
New Good Year Wrangler S/T tires
new rear brakes and had rotors cut
oil changed 1000 miles ago
Coolant changed couple thousand miles ago
Transmission fluid and filter and pan gasket change couple thousand miles ago
New radiator and hoses about 20,000 miles ago
New Bosch Battery installed 1/2012
What i need to have done
Differential fluid change.
Front brakes just because so i feel safer even though they have 60% left on them

Instead of the brakes - because you said they still have some 60% life in them - have the distributor cap and rotor changed/inspected and replace the spark plugs/or cables should the mechanic advise you too. Those are more important - for this trip - than the differential fluid.
