Suggest ideas for this Living room?

This is my small living room in my new flat. The room is small and floor is dark, so suggest me sofa, table, rug, curtain, wall paint and other decor. Also tell me how to arrange furniture. The sofa that I have now is big and made of rosewood, it occupies large space but still offers a very few space to sit.

It looks nice already.
The key here is to keep things light and clutter free. I would therefore get a smaller sofa in a lightish colour and maybe a small light rug to add warmth to the floor.
Is that the telephone cable to the right corner? If so, get a small table for the phone and maybe a radio.
I would decide on one colour and paint the wall opposite the door in that colour. Go for a bold, bright colour rather than a dark colour and I would get proper curtains in rather than those thin ones.
What's behind you? Do you have a another room for the kitchen, dining room etc? The key here is things that do the job but don't over power the room or make the room look smaller and this can be done on colour and size.

Purchase the furniture matched with the other furniture in your home else I think you should buy modern furniture for this room. Contemporary designs look beautiful and they are also easy to handle and move. You can find beautiful sofa, corner table, console table, side bench or coffee in this table. Use some beautiful wall hangings this will look beautiful and add style in your room’s appearance.

A sofa would take up too much space. Try looking for Joinery Nottingham services and check if they have small furniture work that would fit in your room.
