How can we get the old format back?
For now I am using Answers Canada, but if that switches I am done with Yahoo Answers permanently. Promise. I've been annoyed a little by format changes on other sites, but this is a dealbreaker for me, Yahoo. Is there any way for us to keep it in the old format? Or an option to go back and forth between the formats? Anything that I, personally, can do?

From the sound of it the new system has been installed in the US and you are just going to have to get used to, and switch to one of the other countries if you get really stuck
Now that it has been going for awhile now we are beginning to see intelligently asked questions and already there are some of us who can tell you what to do or where to look.
That seems to be the main problem as people are not looking properly and complaining about the whole thing and not asking about the issues they face

Currently, your only option seems to be a non-US site. I've heard some folks say that clearing cache and using IE may work on the US site for some, but that may be with older versions of IE. So no guarantees. I'm inclined to think the change will eventually hit all the English language sites, as all past changes have, and we will have no more say in that than we have had in the past, sorry. This site has almost always been a case of "adjust or leave".

They just switched me back to the old format. I don't know what their game is. Maybe it's a way to destroy Yahoo! without being open about that being the real reason.

Have you left your opinion on the suggestion board yet? I doubt it will have any effect they've already ignored over 500 users, though one more couldn't hurt.
