Action Replay DS help. Animal Crossing V.1.1?

Hello. I've recently found my Action Replay DS. The first game I tried on it was Animal Crossing: Wild World. The thing is, it doesn't work. At all.

It starts up from the Action Replay, but freezes before the Nintendo logo shows up. The problem is; I can start it up fine without using the Action Replay. And the Action Replay works for other games like New Super Mario Bros.

I did the following;

Resetted and cleared out my Action Replay, and then entered one code manually (Running at warp speed. my favorite one)

Deleted said code and tried to re-enter it

Deleted said code but didn't add it back

I even deleted the folder for Animal Crossing itself so it reads "Unknown game" and still doesn't work.

I know about the whole "different versions" nonsense, but that's not the problem. I wrote down the code that pops up when I insert the cartridge and googled it for codes of that specific version. But it still doesn't work.

Please help. I miss my warp speed. ;w;
