To the YA politics crowd?
Do people actually grasp what it means to have a difference of opinion? Liberals generally want one thing, conservatives generally want another. But because we occupy the same space, we have to compromise, and live with something between the two. But somehow, we have gotten to the point where we talk about the other camp as if they are invading armies occupying our country. Does anyone else see the problem with this, or is it just me?

Sarge, you are correct. I guess what is is starting to come down to is power. It is a power grab on both sides and the American People are the ones who suffer. One day common sense will return and the people will be finally do what is in their best interests and vote for those who will listen and do the bidding of their constituents. Let's just hope that the constituents have common sense.
