When is that "genius" Theo Epstein going to turn the Cubs into a winning team?
I don't see any improvement in their record or standings since he became President of Baseball Operations and it's actually gotten worse over the past two years!
Will the owner keep him for his full five year contract?

In Epstein's two years as team president, the Cubs have gone 127-197 (.392). In the two years prior to Einsteins' hiring, the Cubs went 146-178 (.451). While there was a slight improvement this season (over 2012) despite the club moving many of its better players there's still no reason to think the Cubs will contend any time soon.
Epstein has said the team wants to develop its young stars but Castro regressed in 2013 and Rizzo hasn't shown that he's anything special. Trying to use these two players as the cornerstones for the future may wind up being a huge mistake.
All-in-all, I'm not impressed with what Epstein has done in Chicago and I think he stuck Sveum with a losing team and then made him the scapegoat for its failure.

The Cubs will probably be one of those surprise teams in 2014, they have many good players that are at the age where they are about to take off. Don't be surprised if the Cubs make everyone forget about the Reds and Cardinals next year.

The Cubs need to tear down Wrigley and replace it with a new ballpark in Rosemont
If the Yankees can tear town the Stadium where so much WS history happened then the Cubs should have no problem w/ tearing down Wrigley where so little WS happened
Once the Cubs get rid of the burden of the relic that they play in then maybe the club will become sucessful

The Cubs are the worst team in the history of Major League Baseball. It will be a whole millennium before they even get to .500.
I have absolutely no faith in this ownership and management to field a winning team.

They are 1-2 years away from seeing better ballplayers at the major league level, can't win before that.

As Jack Brickhouse put it, anyone can have a bad century. It's going to take time to build a winner on the North Side.
