Signs of anorexia?? how to prevent it ?

I'm not obsessed with my weight ( i think) but lately a couple of months ago I've started to lose my apetite quickly and usually don't eat a lot and I always end up really full and feel nauseous I don't throw up or anything. I don't think i'm fat but I wish I was skinny I like to measure my weight a lot and now and then i do some excercise. The thing is that that my mom thinks I'm becoming anorexic or whatever serves me more food which makes me even more full and nauseous and If i tell her I'm full or I feel like I'm going to throw up she gets mad at i feel like if she keeps doing this I might actually throw up and she'll get upset and would blame it on me. She gets upset at everything if i step on the balance if i read the back of a cereal bar she gets mad I feel like I need to hide everything from her just so she stops annoying me. I'm worried that i get full way too quickly.

I would say that you don't have any signs of anorexia. You are wanting to become conscious of what is going into your body, which is completely normal as long as you don't do it to the point where you are no longer enjoying life. However, if you are trying to lose weight you must do it for yourself and not for others. Believe it or not you do not have to be a size 0 to be considered beautiful, regardless of what Vogue says about your image. I would let your mom know that you are not starving yourself but rather you are wanting to know more about what is going into your body. If she doesn't understand that then maybe you should look at the back of things online and on your own time rather than right in front of her.

Best of luck and remember you should only change for yourself, the opinions of others should not matter.

You just have a small appetite. You said you do 'some exercise', if you we're anorexic you would be compulsively exercising, all the time. Maybe your mother just doesn't know a lot about the illness and is mistaking a small appetite and being careful of what you eat for an illness. Mothers worry too much sometimes!

Sometimes moms are just like that. My mom does that to my sister too haha and she tells her she is a chicken and needs to eat lol. The real way to know is if you ask your friends they'll give you an honest opinion
