When can I break up with my boyfriend?
We have been dating for a month and a half and I think we got together before we really knew each other. I want to break it off now but there is ten day before homecoming and we already made plans, he bought clothes, and asked me really nicely. Honestly I want to break up with him because hes really clingly, doesnt talk a lot, and is honestly kind of annoying, plus I dont find him attractive anymore...I wish I could break up with him now. How long should I wait after homecoming to end it?

If you don't want to go to homecoming with him, don't. Simple. You're free to break it off whenever you want. However realise the consequences of your actions: you break up with him now, awkward times at homecoming. Leave it until after homecoming and feel the guilt of leading him on and tainting the memories he has of what seemed like a great time. he will hate you more for breaking up with him after homecoming because he will question if everything was a lie. Dangerous stuff. I would break it off now if you're feeling this way. Clothes can be returned and plans remade. Or you could try actually getting to know him more and understand him. A month and a half, please that's hardly anything to go on anyway!

Just break up with him, dont drag it on. If you want to still go with him tell him that you will still go with him to homecoming since you made plans, but if you don't want to go with him just break up with him then tell him that. It probably won't be easy especially if he is clingy but do what you gotta do. You can't stay with someone you are unhappy with. Good luck

Well, at least you are being considerate. I was dumped right before prom. Lol. But, you want to have fun at your homecoming. Don't go with someone that will be a buzz kill. He will get over it in time. I promise.
