Republican Party: 5. Democratic Party: 5. I say this because the two parties have to learn how to solve issues together and incorporate both views to the liking of the American people. In most instances, both parties are too focused on their own agenda versus solving key issues. I consider myself a moderate, but I tend to lean more towards conservative ideology. I look at both sides and pick what fits me best. With that said, both parties present some valid solutions to our country's problems. They just need to stop being so stubborn and work with each other. But we all know that isn't going to happen.

They have their good members and they have their bad members just like the Democratic Party, the only thing is the Democrats are for big government big government programs, the Republicans on the other hand are for lower taxes More capitalism to create more business so everybody has jobs and everyone makes more money. The Democrats want to tax and spend on big government programs that don't work like Obamacare! That's why we're 16 trillion dollars in debt because of this president, all wants is spend money and then put Taxes on everyone to pay for his buddies Bullshit companies like Solindra Energy or ABC 123 Battery company both went Bankrupted the American tax payer got stuck for $532 million dollars just from Solindra they say American tax payers will only Receive 24 million on this Bankruptcy this was Obama's company of futrue jobs before he got elected, his buddies owned this company. I guess you could say Obama and his transparency was a line of Bullshit

I feed sympathy for Republicans who have a sincere desire to make this country a better place and are willing to work with all citizens who share that desire, regardless of political affiliation. I have known plenty of honest, intelligent and well educated Republicans.

I think the GOP has been hijacked by Tea Party loons, which may well be the death of the entire entity. We're going to see the emergence of a third party or maybe even several more, to accommodate moderates and the extreme Left, which has been compromised right out of the Democratic party.

About a 6. Dems I put at about 4. Some days either one could be higher or lower, but normally Repubs are a little higher than Dems.

*EDIT* - This does not include the "Tea Party", who I feel are not real Republicans. The Tea Party I rank at a 3.

Right now probably a 3. I agree with them on the most basic level of shrinking government, but I think they go about doing just about everything wrong. It dearly makes me wish I was in charge of the party so I could bring them back to sanity.

    Source(s): Conservative.

    I rate the Republicans a 7.

Source(s): The democrats get a 1 only because that's the lowest on the scale available.

    5, but I give the Dems a 2

Zero. If negative numbers were allowed, I'd change my answer.

@Alice - I agree with everything you said; but, the TP now controls the GOP. There is no difference. As long as Rafael Cruz is in charge, I will resist the GOP with every fibre of my being.
