Who are your top two picks for President in the 2016 election?
Either President/running mate OR your top two picks for President.

9 AnswersPolitics7 years agoWhy do people think the Libertarian Party is so strong now?
I keep seeing posts about how the Libertarian Party is going to take over.
They BARELY managed to get 1% of the vote in 2012, with a well-known candidate. I'd agree the LP is growing, and fewer people identify as Republican or Democrat, but they still vote Republican and Democrat. We're still a LONG way off from having a third party candidate with a valid shot of winning the Presidency. At best, they might be able to spoil an election in their home state for one party or the other. But even that is a longshot.
4 AnswersPolitics7 years agoIs there anyone in your state you'd vote for for President?
I'm from Washington State and I like Cathy McMorris Rodgers. Our former governor, Christine Greogire, might be a 2016 candidate, but I don't like her that much.
8 AnswersPolitics7 years agoWho would you like to see President / VP in 2017?
And why?
-- Nevermind their actual chances of winning. Just who would be your #1 & #2 pick for Pres/VP?

13 AnswersPolitics7 years agoHow do I add a header, footer and page number on different pages on Microsoft Word?
Okay... I want page numbers on the bottom of the page, starting on page nine, and on the bottom of every page after that.
Beginning at page ten, and every even-numbered page after that, I want the header to show my name.
Then, beginning at page eleven, and every odd-numbered page after that, I want the header to show the document's title.

15 AnswersPolitics8 years agoWhat war in history would you least want to fight in?
You get one war where you get to say, "Nu uh. I don't want to fight that war."
Which war do you refuse to take part in?
9 AnswersHistory8 years agoIf you were President, what would be your top three priorities?

10 AnswersPolitics8 years agoHow harmful would you rate the shutdown, 1-10?
1 = Didn't lose an hour's sleep.
10 = It was a dark age.
And do you consider yourself liberal or conservative?
4 AnswersPolitics8 years agoWhy are liberals so obsessed with Ted Cruz?
It seems almost every fifth 'question' concerns Ted Cruz, usually attacking him. I just wonder why? He's a Senator, 1 of 100. He doesn't have that much influence.
I just think its making a big deal out of nothing. He's a freshman Senator. He's hardly the ideological leader of the GOP or conservatives in general. He doesn't really have that much power. A lot of people blame him for the shutdown, it seems. Why? It wasn't as if one vote caused the shutdown. If it was a 49-51 vote, and Cruz was the deciding vote, that'd make more sense. But it wasn't that way.
18 AnswersPolitics8 years agoWhat issue(s) do you cross party lines on?
Whether you consider yourself more liberal or more conservative, where do you disagree with your party?
Mine (lean Republican):
Tax cuts - I support them, but not when we have a deficit. Get a balanced budget first. I can support some tax increases to balance the budget IF we have cut spending as much as possible.
Gay marriage - I support a constitutional amendment defining marriage as a union between consenting adults, that covers everything - traditional marriage, interracial marriage, gay marriage, polygamy, bigamy, everything. In lieu of an amendment, leave it to the states.
Environment - I support private and some government action to ensure a clean environment and such.
"English as the official language" - Strongly against it.
Military spending - I support cutting military spending, largely closing overseas bases, getting out of needless wars, canceling over-priced military equipment, etc.

18 AnswersPolitics8 years agoHow are points scored in MLS?
I don't mean goals in the game, that's obvious, I mean points for the standings. What's a win worth? Three points, right? A tie? Do you get any points for goals scored?
