A lot of girls "fall in love" with some guy and conduct long, elaborate fantasy relationships without the guy ever finding out. It's the pop-star, TV fangirl thing. The ones that are really out of touch with reality are the ones who wind up on a celebrity's front step and have to be hauled away by the cops.

Tell her that it's a bit early to be making declarations of love and you like her, but you don't know her all that well yet.

No, she doesn't love you - she doesn't know you all that well, either. But she's probably seriously infatuated. Don't give her reason to think you care more than you do until you're sure of your feelings. Frankly, that kind of leap-before-you-look behavior would scare me off.
