How to rephrase this sentence?

I'm doing a deconstruction of pop culture and I chose zombies.

I'm trying to avoid using "small" words, like "thing" and I can't find any other word that works for it. So here's the sentence:

Those who are dedicated to zombie themed things will no doubt have one or two T-shirts laying around, or a few DVD's that have been played many times.

All I want is a better word to replace things, thanks
