Does my ex still like me?
I broke up with this guy Alex a month or so before school ended last year. We were together for about 7 months. We're now in high school and we have a couple classes together. I always catch him staring at me and he will go out of his way to walk in front of me but he won't even glance my way. He will come up to a group I'm in and talk to everyone there except me. The other day he gave me a compliment on my dress. Does he still like me or is he mad at me or is he trying to show me that he isn't affected by our break up?

He likes you.
But that won't help you two make it work.
The surest indication that two people are not suitable for each other is when there is a break up. You see, if two people ARE able to make a relationship work between them, they don't break up. Instead, they sit down and work it out together.
So breaking up is always an indication that this is what you two do best as a couple .. break up.
But .. it does feel kinda nice to think that someone who once liked us does still like us. Just don't get hooked by this feeling or you will end up getting hurt all over again.
