There is no cheap software. Its all pro or nothing. A DAW usually costs up to $500. Logic is $199 I believe which is a really good deal. If I wear you I would start off like this..
Logic X $199
Sylenth1 $130
Vengeance Sample Packs or anything you can find. You gotta find professional sounding sample packs to start off with a solid sound (kicks, hats, fx). Then you can go into making your own when you get better. Just download these packs thru like torrents. cheers.

I use FL Studio Producer Edition. It's not too hard to learn but has advanced features. You can use VST plugins and samples to get any sound you want, it's great for electronic music. You can try the free demo at flstudio.com or buy it with 10% discount with the promo link for new users https://support.image-line.com/jshop/shop.php?offe...
You don't really need anything else to get started so it's quite cheap. If you get more serious about making music you can get more equipment to help your products (high quality audio interface, studio monitor speakers/headphones, MIDI keyboard controller etc).
