Applying to a college?
I'm currently in my senior year of school and I am concerned about college. I'm still deciding what school to go to and what to major but I was wondering when should I apply and do schools have deadlines?(I have a few friends who have already been accepted or have applied so I'm getting a little worried since my knowledge of the transition from high school to college is very little.)

Yes. The deadline for some of the Universities is as early as November 3rd. Most have deadlines in December or January, though. Over half of university students end up changing their major in their first or second year of studies. This doesn't present much of a problem as the first year you'll be taking Univ. level general education classes like English Composition, Calculus or Statistics, and some social sciences classes in addition to Intro classes for your field of study.

You really need to apply now. every school has different deadlines. usually around christmas. But you should apply using early action in which the deadline is usually around the end of october. Even if you're not ready I highly recommend applying early action, basically I guess if you apply early they just give you a better chance at accepting you. The only reason I say that is because I know for a fact that the only reason I was accepted to the University of Michigan is because I applied early

You should apply as soon as possible, yes , colleges do have their deadlines and you gotta check for that. For me, got into Berkeley last year, I think the deadline is dec 31? Not so sure.for the major, you can actually make it undeclared and when you get into the university you want, choose your major
