High school diploma help?
So I graduated back in 2008 and I received my diploma and after I graduated my school was shut down (it was a private school) from no funds being recieved. So they locked all of their documents in a storage den. Well I ended up losing my house and threw all my diploma and transcripts in a storage den and ended up not being Able to pay for it and the locked my stuff way and now I don't have my diploma. I tried going to college but since I didn't have my diploma and can't get it since the school. is no longer around I can't go. And the job I'm applying for need a diploma for me to work there and to must show it. Well I saw that there is a website that you can get near exact matches of diplomas so you can get a copy of it so you have it again. Is this okay to do since I can't get a copy from my school anymore? And will it work for my job because I in a real struggle not being able to have or get it.

You are contemplating fraud. Don't do it.
The advice that you received from another answer is good. In addition see if you can find out the name of the organization that sponsored your shut down hgh school and contact them. If not your state education department may be of help./

What you are able to do is find an organization of private schools in you state. There is a a national organization. Use the phone book to do that. You also may Google the US Department of Education to get more private school accrediting organizations.
However, right now they are not available because of the dispute about the federal shut-down. You will have to wait on that until the shut-down problem is resolved. Good luck.
