Do you think that Yahoo will ever crack down on the Indian bribetakers in the abuse department?

You know the ones. They lock in the "deleted" pimp spam so it remains permanently displayed.

Update:

When the abuse report function works normally, the deleted questions disappear from the display, and also from the search results.

However, there are periodic surges (such as currently), in which they do not.

I doubt that this is something that happens by itself.

They don't exactly lock it in.

This is a problem with Yahoo Answers: when a question is reported and the report is found valid, the question is removed, but its subject line remains in the list.

Thus one can game Yahoo Answers by posting spam in the subject line as it will stay.

In addition, one can create as many sock puppet accounts on Yahoo as one likes: without something to prevent it (such as positive IP verification, and even this can be circumvented, or payment, which will drive down users) it cannot be stopped.

Put them on the Suggestion board. Kool Kat has a working thread for spam.
