I want to download Gmod, but I am worried about something?
I want Gmod, but the only source game I have is Portal. I know that if you don't have certain games, like counter strike source, you get errors, and missing textures. Now I am planning on getting counter strike, along with Gmod (there is a bundle deal! I am going to take advantage of it.), but I don't have half life 2. Will this cause problems? If so, how severe???

Yuo do not neccessarily need any of the source games unless you wish to play online. Luckily, inside the Gmod steam workshop, players have prepared packages that mimic the source files that the games would originally give you. You do not HAVE to buy counter strike source as there is already a collection that has all the models you may need from it in the workshop. but the more source games you have, the more ideas and possibilities you have when creating things in the game.
Basically, browse the steam workshop for anything you may need. Google it as well and it may take you directly to the steam collection your looking for.
