Are these called 'huggie' earrings?
I'm looking to buy earrings similar to the ones worn by David Beckham in this picture:

Are these classed as 'huggie' earrings or just regular ones? Thanks.

Your link opens to a generalised Google image search for David Beckham/ earrings (heaps of images of DB wearing earrings of all varieties). I don't know which ones you're referring to that may (or may not) qualify as "huggies".
Here's how it breaks down:
This is a 'hoop' earring (with a lever-back that locks tightly):

This is a pair of 'huggie hoop' earrings:
('huggies' are shorter and thicker than a traditional 'hoop-style' earring and 'hug' the lobe)

These are diamond solitaire, (aka diamond 'stud') square-cut, prong-set earrings:

Diamond solitaire (aka diamond 'stud') square-cut, bezel-set earrings:

The difference between 'prong-set' vs. 'bezel-set' is the gold/ platinum/ titanium/ sterling silver/ stainless steel (whatever metal used) either secures the diamond in-place all the way around (bezel-set) whilst the prong-set diamond is only held in-place by four little prongs on the sides. (Bezel-set stones are much more secure and one doesn't take such a risk of losing a diamond with bezel-settings. If you're really active and/ or into sports, go for 'bezel-set'. Even changing clothes can dislodge a diamond stud because a prong may catch on a thread, etc.
This is a round-cut diamond stud:

(in this case, the post is threaded and screws into the earring backing; making it more secure but they don't always come with the screw-in design so if you're active, look for a threaded-stem/ post)

'Pavé-set diamonds refers to a setting of stones placed close together so as to show no metal between them (diamonds hold themselves in-place and it's common for wearers to lose a diamond --or many-- so think twice re: pavé-set diamond jewelry).

DB's very active, (as well as fortunate-enough to have unlimited recourses). He wears studs made of platinum with bezel-settings that are threaded so they will stay in-place. But one can have the exact same look with sterling silver or white gold bezel-settings, using white sapphire, cubic zirconia etc.
If you're getting studs (with a post setting), it's important to get the threaded-stem post style that screw into the backing so you won't lose your investment. Hoop-style earrings, lever-back-style, and threaded-post are the most secure. The short, chubby hoops are known as 'huggies'.

Usually, that's too long for me. I believe it depends on the guy and his face though. Certain guys can pull off long hair and others can't.

this is a question together with two possible answers, some guys favor long hair while others may prefer shorter hair
