How do you solve this?
Question: What is the value of x if the area of the figure is 154 square feet?
I am more advanced than an Honors student (Pre-Algebra shouldn't start until 8th or 9th grade), and I didn't fall asleep because math is right after gym/ P.E. I have no clue how to solve. I am begging for help!

the figure is symmetrical
so the roof of the little house is composed with 2 equal triangles
their area is 6* x/2
the area of the rectangle below is 8*x
so the total area is 2*6*x/2+8*x=3x+8x=11x m²
