I agree. I've also seen Christmas commercials on TV.

We've seen it happening for a couple weeks here........

In one particular store the fall décor is all but gone. Halloween is dwindling. Thanksgiving is holding up. And Christmas has been spilling out onto all the aisles and displays more and more each day.

I agree, it's much too early.....and it's no wonder why so many people are 'over it' before we're even halfway thru' what so many of us remember as the 'true' Christmas season!

They continue to bring this stuff out earlier each year because as soon as they hit the shops people rush to get it thinking that they'll miss the chance because others will get 'it' before they can get 'it'. This gives the suppliers the idea that everyone wants everything earlier and earlier each year.

My main moan is Christmas street lights. They used to be put up end of November and taken down soon after the New Year. Now they are up before October is gone and stay there until late February (in the town where I live at least). It is all total madness.

I was beginning to wonder if they ever took them down, as I found myself looking at them.

This must be the earliest ever for Christmas displays. I was talking to a clerk a few weeks ago who told me they had Christmas decorations ready to put up.

Maybe this is the year I finally find a string of lights to match the others on my roof..I better act fast.

It's not even Halloween. One season at as time. Christmas stuff should come out a couple days before thanksgiving

Not sure why this is in the senior citizens category but, in spite of the fact that in China they seem to sell such items all year long, personally agree that Christmas items shouldn't be on sale before the Advent fast begins, mid-November at the latest.

Yes, its usually September time! I also disagree with tv ads for toys, some kids get bugger all for Christmas, its just torturing them.

  • There are some but not a lot yet.

They really start loading it up after Halloween here.

They must have an overstock of cheap Chinese junk. I avoid buying anything made in China if possible.
