How to approach a foreign girl?
Hi :)
There are a group of european students studying at my highschool (UK) and one of them who i will call Laura is German and most people dont think shes hot but i do! She speaks good English and she seems reay nice and outgoing. My friend had a date arranged with her to the cinema but he turned it down because he had 'better things to do' wtf? She seemed really excited but he doesnt really like her, I have been studying German for around 5 years and can say quite a bit and according to my friend she is happy to help people learn it. It is however pretty awkward whenever im near her and i dont know how to even say hello :/ Any help on how to first start speaking to her? i really want to but its sooo awkward and i dont think just a random hi would do anything.

Start with:" hi. I hear that you can speak German, I have studied German for a few years, but I am afraid to speak because my pronunciation would be horrible. I would love to have a beautiful girl help me, could you help me with everyday German?" That starts the conversation. Then lead it to going to a movie, right, every day things. Movie, lunch, hot chocolate at a coffee shop.
I learned Spanish this way. The best way to learn a language is to have a girlfriend who speaks that language.

Being a foreign you could approach her with something like: Hey, where are you from? Mmmm...Let me guess, definitely from a nice country (then you show interest in her culture). So how do you like it over here? I want to learn some Italian/Portuguese/Spanish words, how do you say...? Blablabla..... Basically you show her you are fascinated by the fact that she is different but without being obvious that you fancy her. if she responds well you've opened the door and take it from there.

two main things you must have when you wanna approach a girl ....Context & Confidence ........you have context but you dont have confidence ........you need to do this .......go to her with confidence ....stand in front of her and say something in German to her .....then tell her you used to take German classes you hope to improve your german lang.....then pick it up from there
