How to write a good closing statement for a court case?
Well, my teacher is making my group pretend to be the Prosecution in a case against Jack Merridew ( From Lord Of the Flies) and were supposed to be trying to convict him of crimes against murder. The people on the defense group have witnesses and so do we. I'm assigned to write the closing statement. I'm not really sure how to write it correctly I also want to make understand for my classmates ( In 9th grade) but still powerful. Please please please please please please help me!!!!

What you do is to describe the evidence that was presented during the trial and explain how that evidence proves that Jack Merridew is guilty of the crime of murder.
You can remind the jury of what the witnesses said and discuss any physical evidence. You can also describe anything Merridew said that helps prove his guilt.
