Can't download java?

I need Java in order for Jubler to work. I might already have it but I can't seem to find the default folder in my program files.

Anyway, I went to the website and I clicked on the button that would allow me to download the latest version but when I click on it, my internet acts like it's somehow broken. It isn't. If it was, I wouldn't have been able to get here.

Are you guys having the same problem or is it just me?

Same problem for everyone, and seems across pc, apple, etc the same. I searched and found a site that offers old apps and downloaded it though. http://www.oldapps.com/java.php and scroll down. I had never went to the site before today so use at your own risk though.

Can say I now have java and it's working :-)

I've been having the same problem all evening, can't download the java JRE for many platforms I'm trying to get up and running. It was throwing an error page a few hours ago but now yeah it's like a generic server error or something. Oh well they'll get to it Monday right it's only java.. *sigh*

Source(s): 16 hours later, still having the same problem, try to download JRE for windows or linux, and I get a server error. Hoping for a remake of Gilligan's Island starring Larry Ellison. Doing a great job as custodian of Java, keep it up. </diaf>
