I Have a Crush on My Teacher?
To start, I am a Sophomore in high school and I am 16. The teacher of my Honors Chemistry class is insanely gorgeous. She's 23, wicked nice, and I love talking to her. I email her a little less than every day, just asking her questions about school work and stuff and throwing in a little sweet talk as well. She used to respond well to the sweet talk in my emails, but now she kind of ignores it. At the Homecoming dance, I flirted with her and I made her smile and giggle a little. I almost asked her to dance to a slow song, but I thought it might be a little inappropriate. I think about her all the time, and it makes me really happy when I see her and excited to talk to her. I want to tell her she's pretty and all the feelings I have for her. However, I'm not confident it will go well, and she could think I'm weird or she'll know I like her. So what should I do? Should I tell her subtly how I feel? Does she know I like her? Other things? Thanks

I second the other guy she could loose her job if you do anything. And 8 years is a bit much of a gap. having fantasy about her is fine but actually doing something is a big no-no. you can kinda be friends but you can't really meet her outside school 8 years is a big gap socially.

I'm a female teacher. Trust me, she knows you like her but she is too old for you. She would never break the law w/ a minor. It's common to have crushes on teachers. You'll get over it.

Don't mess around with it. I know it's tempting, believe me, I know, but she's just going to laugh it off. Trust me, that's how it goes every time. You'll find the right person for you eventually, but your teacher is just there to educate you. And as the other person said, she could lose her job.

Don't tell her or anyone what you told us.
I had a crush on my English teacher when I was a junior but I kept it to myself.
Soon you will find a girl your age and you'll forget about the crush you have for your teacher.
Lots of people have crushes on their teachers so don't feel weird

Wait a few years until you get out of school, then she won't be your teacher anymore and you can do whatever you want.
