Reoccurring dreams about deceased mom meaning?
My mom committed suicide a year ago and I'm still having dreams about her almost every night. We weren't close and she was abusive when I was young. In my dreams she is either some sort of evil demon trying to kill me or she is still alive and I'm reliving my childhood trying to get away from her..occasionally she'll start crying because I didn't love her enough. Will these dreams ever stop? They are scary..

These dreams are merely reminders of the trauma you have experienced. You should start going through the exercise of forgiveness each time you have another episode. The longer you wait to respond, the deeper the bitterness will be entrenched. The act of forgiveness is more about exercising your freedoms and controlling your thoughts/emotions than anything else. If you don't start this journey, your mother and the abusive relationship will control you for the rest of your life.
