The Rays should be traded to a metropolitan area that will support them bc the Tampa Bay area won't

They need to trade him, it'll hurt a bit in the short term, but it's needed for the long haul. Obviously the Rays don't add major talent via free agency, and with them winning rather consistently now, they aren't going to reload with high draft picks. They need to trade their vets before they reach free agency in order to add new, young talent. See the Shields/Wil Myers trade. Price should attract a better package than Shields did, as he is a few years younger and has a significantly better track record. The Rangers are an obvious choice, expect the Dodgers, Nationals, Reds among others to at least make offers. The Rays still have a good group of young arms, so the package would likely only include one pitcher, and the rest being good offensive prospects.
