Need to know if there is a New hotel in Vegas?
So right now I'm staring out the window at a big scaffold and I really want to know what it is that they are building. Its right across the street from Mandalay Bay and my boss says its at least 20 stories high. They only got an area planned out and haven't done much yet with it. Its killing me so if you know, share it!

That is going to be the SkyVue observation wheel (ferris wheel), if they ever get it done. There will also be shopping and dining in a complex there.
Caesars is currently beating them to the punch with the High Roller, which is much farther along down behind the Quad. It's going to be higher than the SkyVue too.

It's a Ferris Wheel; they ran into geo-technical problems so the works were halted for a while. Another, huge Ferris Wheel is being built behind Flamingo too, close to completion now... :) It will change the whole area (we hope) ...
